When you......

2 Corinthians 3:3

 When you first wake up

From a full nights rest

Do you say a prayer

And ask God to bless.

Do you Thank Him

For His beautiful day ?

Or do you just get up

And go your own way ?

And what about the sin

That you have done

Do you ask to be forgiven

Before this day has begun ?

Do you Thank Him

For His wonderful plan ?

Or do you just believe in

What you hold in your hand ?

Do you Thank Him for His blessings

That He sent your way ?

Or do you think you earned

What you received each day ?

May I suggest to you

As to what I believe

That God has sent all

Good  things that I receive.

He gives me sunshine

Each and every day

He gives me enough rain

Before it goes away.

He gives me flowers

Just so beautiful

He warms my soul

And makes it full.

He gave to me

All the blessings of life

He gave to me

My familys and friends.

He gave to me fine son

And a daughter and

A new generation of love.

He gave to me

My mother and Dad

Two greater parents

I couldn't have had.

So my friend

I just wanted to day

When you wake each morning

Thank God for each and every day.
